We, Football News, now understand that despite having been wrapped in negotiations for the player, Premier League new boys Crystal Palace are now unlikely to sign Yohan Mollo.
Ian Holloway was due to watch Yohan Mollo and possibly have talks with the player after Nancy’s game on Friday, but he pulled out at the last moment:
“I almost went to France on Friday night to watch a player, but I told my chairman I couldn’t possibly do that because it would have disrupted my lads before we played at Stoke. In the end I didn’t do it, but now we’re not going to buy that player.”
It is understood that after bringing in Jason Puncheon on loan from Southampton, Crystal Palace are also unlikely to pursue Mollo any further as they have now re-enforced this position.
