Valenciennes’ defender Benjamin Angoua is interesting Fulham and Hull City according to Sky Sports.
The 27 year old Ghanaian centre-back’s contract expires at the end of this season and Football News understands that Fulham have contacted the player’s agent about a move.
Valenciennes are likely to want around €2m for the player but if Fulham do not agree with this evaluation they would be able to agree a pre-contract with the player that would see him arrive at the Cottagers for free in June.
Valenciennes President Jean Raymond Legrand was yesterday in talks with AS Monaco about bringing back Nicolas Isimat Mirin to the club on a loan deal. Valenciennes are already short of defensive cover as it is, so it is unlikely that this move is purely motivated by the probable departure of Angoua but one cannot rule that out.
