OGC Nice President Jean Pierre Rivere confirmed to our colleagues at RMC that none of Didier Digard, Dario Cvitanich or Jeremy Pied will be leaving the club this transfer window.
“The aim of the coach is to face a balanced team, mixing youth with experience.”
Cvitanich apparently wants to remain: “he wants to stay here, he feels good.” said the President.
As for Jeremy Pied, who had been in talks with Metz: “he will also be part of the squad.”
Timothee Kolodziejczak is still expected to leave the club, after West Ham United pulled out of signing the player last minute. The OGC Nice President confirmed that he is waiting for a good offer for the player and that a suitable replacement has already been found should the Frenchman leave.
The club also remains in the market for a central defender after the departure of Pejcinovic, and former stalwart Renato Civelli has been contacted, Football News understands.
