It looks like Nice full back Timothee Kolodziejczak will be hot property this summer, and has already attracted major attention from Premier League sides. Football News can exclusively reveal that QPR have enquired about the player’s availability to Nice. However, QPR are known to enquire about players and not push the case further, so this may be one of those cases.
Football Newsalso understands that West Ham United, who were the initial frontrunners to sign Kolodziejczak, have had a concrete €3 million offer rejected by OGC Nice. Nice are looking for €5 million + considerable bonuses if they are to sell one of their brightest young players. West Ham may well decide to put in another, improved offer.
As for Southampton, they remain very interested in signing Kolodziejczak this summer. However, their new manager, Koeman, is thought to prefer an unnamed Dutch player for the same position. Following the departure of Luke Shaw to Manchester United, the Saints will surely look to strengthen in that department.
