Football News understands that there is ‘a good feeling’ around the Lacina Traoré camp according to a source close to the player after the now Monaco man had a work permit hearing today which will decide whether or not he will be able to complete a loan move to West Ham until the end of the season.
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is understood to have attended the hearing in an attempt to give the Premier League side’s case more weight to sign Traoré.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to tell what the outcome of the hearing will be.
Now it is simply a question of time. As of early this evening, Traoré’s camp had yet to be alerted to the outcome of this hearing. If the player is granted a work permit then all that is left is for Traoré to do is to complete a medical and finalise his move.
