Promising central defender Lindsay Rose is close to finalising a move away from cash strapped Valenciennes.
According to our colleagues at L’Equipe, Lindsay Rose has agreed a provisional contract with Bordeaux, which is four years in length.
Bordeaux continue to negotiate a fee for the player, and Valenciennes want to recoup up to €3.5m for the player, including future bonuses.
Les Girondins are not the only side circling, with Montpellier, St Étienne and Lyon having all made approaches. Lyon are actively in fee negotiations for the player, alongside Bordeaux. Montpellier have temporarily given up on negotiations after they felt that they would not be able to find an agreement with Valenciennes President Jean Raymond Legrand.
