Nantes President Waldemar Kita has admitted in an interview with Le Parisien that he is open to the sale of Ligue 1 side Nantes:
“A club, it is a society and we do not decide to leave just like that. But if somebody who has more money than me and wants to buy it, why not? But it is not enough to say that you want to buy it if you don’t have the means, as we have seen elsewhere. And the there is Franck, who might want to be my successor.”
Kita is understood to have been referencing Lens when discussing interested buyers who don’t have the means to do so and Franck Kita is the individual he is talking about possibly taking over as President, his son.
