According to our colleagues at L’Equipe, PSG have had a major breakthrough in terms of possibly signing Real Madrid’s Angel di Maria.
The newspaper claims that the clubs have now agreed to the idea of a loan agreement with an obligatory buy-out option but have yet to agree the fee at the end of that season-long loan. The player has informed Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti regarding his desire to leave yet again.
PSG will spend the next week trying to push down Real Madrid’s initial €65m demands. The option of including Marco Verratti in the deal has been swiftly rejected by PSG representatives.
The deal “remains complicated” according to a source at PSG. Manchester United and Bayern Munich remain interested in the player.
