According to Manu Lonjon of Foot Mercato, Bordeaux want to sign Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa from Malaga before the transfer window closes.
Guillermo Ochoa had previously been offered to several Ligue 1 outfits at the beginning of the January transfer window including Reims and Nice.
Ochoa has failed to become the first choice goalkeeper since leaving AC Ajaccio in 2014 for Malaga, with Carlos Kameni in the number one spot.
Bordeaux did not anticipate entering into the goalkeeper market but following the season-ending injury to Cedric Carrasso last weekend coupled by the back-up Jerome Prior’s catastrophic showing last night in the Coupe de la Ligue semi-final against Lille.
Bordeaux, after missing out on Salvatore Sirigu of PSG, have now moved on to Guillermo Ochoa.
The most likely scenario is a loan until the end of the season.
