Premier League side Liverpool have stepped up their chase for Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Le Parisien.
The French newspaper reports that LFC have taken the lead ahead of PSG to land the Gabonese international. Aubameyang himself is open to a move to Anfield for multiple reasons, according to the report.
These include Champions’ League football, the possibility of playing under Jürgen Klopp next season and the desire from the owners to spend big this summer.
Liverpool have indicated that they are prepared to pay the €70m demanded by Dortmund for the former St Étienne man.
