Contrary to reports from Italy suggesting that French forward Mbaye Niang had agreed yesterday to join Premier League side Watford in an initial €1m loan deal with an €18m option to buy, L’Équipe assert this morning that the player has yet to make a decision in that regard.
France Football are reporting that West Ham United are also making a play for the AC Milan man, with manager Slaven Bilic having held talks with the player.
Today could be decisive in the future of Niang. A deal with Watford is in place, but a deal with Genoa was also already in place earlier this month and the player rejected that.
Could the same thing happen to the Hornets?
