Cameroon international Georges Mandjeck has signed a three-year deal with Czech club Sparta Prague, departing Metz for an undisclosed fee.
The midfielder played 56 times in all for the club, after his move from the Turkish second division two years ago.
“I’m so glad I could become a Sparta player,” said Mandjeck. “It’s a big team with great ambition. It is a great opportunity for me to be here and to fight for success. I would like to play in the Champions League with Sparta. I know the season will be challenging because there is one more strong team, but I think Sparta is also strong and we are looking forward to being successful at the end of the season.”
