L’Équipe report that AS Monaco have had a €10m proposal for RC Strasbourg midfielder Jean-Eudes Ahoulou rejected.
RCSA want at least €15m in order to part with the 24-year-old, and have an offer from a European side currently on the table worth more than what ASM have so far proposed.
Giannelli Imbula has been offered to Strasbourg and could be a replacement option that RCSA turn to if required. Imbula is more likely to be loaned out again, rather than sold by Stoke, who have been relegated to the Championship.
Lyon are also watching the Ahoulou situation with interest, with certain individuals with the club considering him to be a prime replacement for Tanguy N’Dombélé if a major offer is made for the former Amiens man this summer.
