Gustavo Poyet used today’s first pre-season press conference at Bordeaux to threaten to leave the club over the murky ownership situation.
“I am not happy, I was expecting something else. The current owner, it is difficult because they might leave, and I don’t know when. And the new owner (American investment fund GAPC), he can’t do anything yet.”
Poyet went on to criticise the club for the lack of transfer activity that has occurred.
“We will see what happens. I do not want to say now (whether if the situation does not change he will leave) so as to not put any pressure on things, but that counts, a lot.”
