AS Monaco today received a €50m including bonuses offer from Premier League side Liverpool for midfielder Fabinho, according to our colleagues at RMC.
Atletico Madrid are also reportedly in active negotiations with Monaco, but had as of the end of last week, yet to submit an initial, formal offer for the player.
Manchester United have also been in regular conversations with Fabinho’s entourage.
It is understood this evening that Liverpool are squarely in the driving seat, but that the bid on the table from the Reds has not been outright accepted by Monaco, by seen in any event as an offer substantial enough to open meaningful discussions between the two outfits.
Time will tell, but Fabinho’s future finally lies away from the Principality.
