FC Porto have this evening confirmed the signing of Brazilian left-back Jorge from Monaco.
The full-back, who moved to the Stade Louis II in January 2017 for a €8.5m fee from Flamengo, and moves to the Portuguese champions on a season-loan deal, with an option to buy included.
The 22-year-old – who remains under contract with Monaco until 2021 – has made 24 appearances with the 2017 Ligue 1 Champions, scoring 2 goals.
Jorge will be looking for further playing time under Sérgio Conceição to boost his chances of either earning a permanent transfer or to force his way back into Monaco’s first team setup.
The former Flamengo left-back has also received 10 caps at Brazil U-20 level and has also earned a solitary cap for the senior national side.
