AS Monaco have this afternoon confirmed the departure of Portuguese manager Leonardo Jardim.
In the official press release, Jardim had the following to say:
“I am thankful and proud to have been able to manage AS Monaco for more than four years. I have always given the best of myself and worked passionately. We had some very big wins together and I will always keep those memories with me. Daghe Munegu.”
AS Monaco VP Vadim Vasilyev added:
“I want profoundly and with the greatest respect thank Leonardo for all the work he accomplished. Leonardo succeeded on the touchline at AS Monaco as a reference in European football and leaves behind him an incredible story of success. His adventure here will remain one of the most wonderful pages in the history of the club. Leonardo will always be a part of the AS Monaco family.”
