Tanguy N’Dombélé set for first France squad call-up

Lyon midfielder Tanguy N’Dombélé is set to earn his first call-up for the French national team when Didier Deschamps announces his squad on Thursday – he will almost certainly replace the injured Corentin Tolisso.

Le Parisien however report that Matteo Guendouzi (Arsenal), Lucas Tousart (Lyon) and Soualiho Meïté (Torino) have all also been observed by Deschamps’ team in recent weeks about a possible call-up.

Adrien Rabiot (PSG) will not be receiving a call-up after refusing to be part of the reserves list for France’s World Cup squad in summer.
