Antoine Kombouaré leads the race to become Dijon’s new manager

Experienced manager Antoine Kombouaré is currently the favourite in the eyes of Dijon’s board to take over at the club as their new boss, according to L’Équipe.

The 55-year-old’s salary demands however could blow up a deal, with him seeking a 6-figure wage, which would be on top of the €1.8m the club has had to pay out to sack Olivier Dall’Oglio.

There is also an interest for ex-Caen boss Patrice Garande, whilst less of a keenness surrounds the profiles of Pascal Dupraz and René Girard.

In the interim, the club will be overseen by David Linarès, the 43-year-old former Lyon midfielder was previously Dall’Oglio’s assistant.
