Official | Jesé Rodriguez joins Real Betis on loan from PSG

Paris Saint-Germain have this evening confirmed that forward Jesé Rodriguez has joined Real Bets on loan until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old last week made his first appearance in over two years for the Parisian’s in their 2-0 French Cup win over Strasbourg, having been significantly out of favour since his €25m move in August 2016.

It was understood that Rodriguez had lost 7kgs in a bid to secure the loan move to Southern Spain – which does not stipulate any option to buy – having rejected a proposal earlier in the month from fellow La Liga side Real Valladolid.

The former Real Madrid forward will be hoping to receive the same portion of first-team opportunities that he had in his previous loan stint in Spain, for Las Palmas in the second half of 2016/17, where he netted three times in 16 appearances and was coached by the now-Real Betis manager Quique Setien.
